A dental crown (cap) is a restoration that is placed on a tooth that has lost a lot of tooth structure due to infection or trauma. A bridge is a dental appliance which is used to replace one or more missing teeth., i.e, they can ‘bridge the gap’ between existing teeth to replace missing teeth. They are designed to restore proper bite and to be cosmetically appealing. Both crowns and bridges are customisable to match the colour, height, texture and overall appearance of the neighbouring natural teeth.
